Armaniousity: The Gift of Ann Lewis to Me

I had discarded this flyer when it arrived telling me of the impending exhibition. It had yet another Hany Armanious work featured. I had been to see the recent MCA exhibition and really felt it was too Armaniousity. I just cannot connect to his work but Ann Lewis did and that’s enough for me to go back and check myself, maybe put in the time and research before discarding.

This exhibition of such generosity allowed us a glimpse of the beginnings of Rosalie Gascoigne, the relevance of indigenous art in contemporary practice and the faith of a collector in art that they love.

Once again to hear Glenn Barkley talk is magic and we were also privileged to have a snapshot into Jon Lewis’ life of photography.

Thanks Anne Lewis
